As an Appian Developer, you’ll join a team that owns and supports a key operational platform, balancing problem solving, platform improvement and stakeholder collaboration. You’ll work across production support, small enhancements and solution design, while helping shape best practice and supporting other developers. If you enjoy combining strong technical skills with platform ownership and continuous improvement, this is an opportunity to make a real impact every day. This is a 12-month max-term role based in Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).

What You'll Do
• Support and maintain Appian applications in production, resolving issues, improving performance and ensuring a reliable experience for users.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide estimates and contribute to solution designs for small enhancements and operational change.
• Lead technical reviews and apply Appian best practices to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable and fit for purpose.
• Monitor platform health, identify opportunities for improvement and help address vulnerabilities and operational risks.
• Guide and support offshore developers through design reviews, technical direction and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with vendors, delivery partners and internal teams to resolve complex issues and optimise platform performance.

What You'll Bring

• Strong experience developing and supporting applications on the Appian Cloud platform, including expertise in integration with other systems
• Experience working in operational or production support environments alongside delivery teams.
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders and translating technical concepts into clear outcomes.
• Knowledge of solution design, application support and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience working within Agile teams and contributing to collaborative delivery.
• Exposure to Appian AI capabilities and CI/CD deployment practices is advantageous. 
• Familiarity with Java, JavaScript or Appian plugins is advantageous but not essential.
