About the Position:
We are looking for a Designer Manager to join the GTS team.
This position is based at our office in Shanghai.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- 1. Lead the pre-research of cutting-edge thermal management technology, formulate a medium
and long-term technology development roadmap and promote its implementation
- 2. Responsible for interdisciplinary technology integration to solve key engineering problems such
as system energy efficiency improvement and lightweighting
- 3. Plan the layout of core technology patents to ensure the effective operation of the intellectual
property protection system
- 4. Guide the team to establish thermal management system-level test standards to cover the
verification requirements of extreme working conditions
- 5. Proficient in the core technical principles of automotive thermal management systems, in-depth
grasp of the research and development logic of key modules such as battery thermal management,
motor electronic control cooling, cockpit air conditioning, heat pump systems, etc., and familiar
with the mainstream and cutting-edge technical routes of the industry (such as immersion cooling,
deep waste heat recovery, etc.).
- 6. Have the ability to integrate interdisciplinary technology to solve complex engineering problems
such as energy efficiency improvement, lightweight, and adaptability to extreme working
conditions of thermal management systems.
- 7. Familiar with intellectual property management system, good at formulating core technology
patent layout strategies, leading patent pool construction or patent attack and defense in the field
of thermal management, understanding domestic and foreign patent regulations and industry
standards.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- 1. Full-time bachelor's degree or above, major in vehicle engineering, thermal energy
engineering, power engineering and engineering thermophysics, refrigeration and low temperature
engineering, master's degree or above is preferred.
- 2. Have solid basic theoretical knowledge in the field of thermal management, be familiar with the
principles of core disciplines such as thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, etc., and
understand the development trends of cutting-edge technologies in the field of automotive
engineering
- 3. Have more than 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of automotive thermal
management, including at least 8 years of experience in the research and development or
technical pre-research of thermal management systems for new energy vehicles (pure
electric/hybrid). Those who have experience in core technical positions in leading car companies or
well-known parts companies are preferred.
- 4. Based on industry trends and enterprise needs, formulate a medium and long-term thermal
management technology development roadmap, clarify technical nodes and landing paths, and
have strong cutting-edge technical insights.
- 5. Good at coordinating cross-departmental resources such as R&D, testing, and production, and
can effectively solve the problem of cross-field collaboration in the process of technology preresearch
and industrialization.
- 6. Have systematic technical talent training ideas, be able to build a professional R&D capability
system, build an echelon of senior technical talents through technical transmission and project
experience, etc., and have a strong sense of innovation-driven awareness and tackling tough
spirit.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, proficient in reading English
technical literature, and experience in overseas technical teamwork is preferred.
