Salary: Grade D £13.48 - £13.92 per hour

Hours of work: 27.5 hours per week

Ludgershall Castle Primary School is a friendly, welcoming school where we ‘Learn, Have Fun and

‘Pupils talk with confidence about their learning and show determination to work hard.’ We are
looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic team from September 2026.

All about the role:

The main duties of the role are as follows:

- Supporting pupils learning, either in groups or through 1:1 work
- Supporting pupils self esteem, inclusion and behavioural development
- Provide physical/personal care to pupils where required.
- Supporting the Teacher/s
- Supporting the curriculum - Support the delivery of the Literacy and Mathematics strategy.
- Supporting the school, e.g. - assisting with setting up, storing and retrieving and general
maintenance of classroom equipment and teaching aids, e.g. computers and computer software,
resources, indoor and outdoor play equipment, photographic equipment etc - helping to ensure the
hygiene of the teaching environment in cases of sickness or soiling - administering minor First Aid
under the guidance of a qualified person
