About this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and assigned areas according to the hotel's luxury standards and procedures.
- Ensure guest rooms are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Make beds, replenish amenities, and replace linen and towels as required.
- Clean and maintain bathrooms, floors, furniture, fixtures, and other guest room areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, lost and found items, or guest concerns promptly to the appropriate department or supervisor.
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment, supplies, and cleaning materials are used correctly and safely.
- Follow established procedures for handling guest belongings, lost and found items, and room access.
- Maintain a professional and discreet approach when working in guest rooms and interacting with guests.
- Respond courteously to guest requests and provide assistance when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping pantries, trolleys, and back-of-house areas.
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and security standards at all times.
- Support the Housekeeping team with additional duties as required by the Supervisor or management.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping Attendant in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of guest room cleaning and housekeeping standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties for extended periods.
- Professional, reliable, and guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices is an advantage.
