A Spa Therapist at SEVEN is a dedicated professional who provides a range of therapeutic treatments and wellness services to promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

Wellness Treatments:

- Perform a range of specialised spa treatments, including deep tissue massage, signature massage, dry cupping therapy, Madero therapy, and lymphatic drainage.
- Tailor treatments to each guest's needs while adhering to industry best practices, such as identifying contraindications and ensuring safe and effective delivery of therapies.
- Customise treatments to meet individual client needs and preferences.

Guest Interaction:

- Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Conduct pre-treatment consultations to understand health concerns or contraindications.
- Provide aftercare advice, including product recommendations and wellness tips.
Operational Excellence:

- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring a clean, relaxing, and hygienic environment.
- Manage appointment schedules effectively, ensuring punctuality.
- Handle spa products, tools, and equipment with care, adhering to safety standards.

Retail and Product Knowledge:

- Stay informed about spa product lines and services to confidently recommend items to guests.
- Support retail sales by educating clients about products that complement their treatments.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with other spa professionals, CRO, spa supervisor / managers, and therapists, to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops.

Requirements

- Diploma or certification in massage therapy, aesthetics, or a related field.
- Training in specific therapies (e.g., aromatherapy, reflexology) is a plus.
- Relevant work experience in a spa, wellness centre, or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of spa software systems and scheduling tools is beneficial.
- Work hours will vary and may include weekends, evenings, and public holidays, based on operational requirements.
- Physically demanding role involving standing, bending, and performing treatments for extended periods.
