Senior Staff Engineer Product Application
Your role
The Sr. Staff Engineer is responsible for product support of intermediate DC/DC bus converters for AI computing, data center, server and telecom applications, including intermediate bus converter (IBC),high-voltage (800V or +/-400V) IBC, digital DC/DC converter, digital AC/DC PSU.
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Collect inputs from the market and customer feedbacks, use your system understanding to design the system board for product validation, write system verification plan, and generate test report.
- Creation and maintenance of customer product collateral (applicationnotes, customer presentations, evaluation boards, user guide, simulation model, training materials, white papers)
- Customer interaction to support design-ins and ensure design-wins.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs for team members and customers.
Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- MSEE preferred with hands-on experience in high-frequency, high-current, high-density DC/DC switch mode power supplies
- 8+ years in digital DC/DC converter design
- Extensive knowledge of high power density DCDC magnetics design, simulation, power loss estimation, and hands-on debugging
- Experience with safety and EMI compliance
- Experience with PCB design tools, Altium or Allegro
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written English
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
