Senior Product Owner

Location : This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our Corby or London office.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager / Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, roadmap and delivery of one of our procurement platforms offering. This platform supports employees, procurement teams and finance stakeholders in managing sourcing, purchasing, approvals and spend visibility across customer organizations.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring the platform delivers measurable business value while providing a seamless and intuitive user experience. This role combines strategic product management with hands-on product ownership responsibilities in an agile environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Product Strategy & Vision

- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Purchasing Manager platform redesign and redevelopment.

- Align product priorities with company objectives, transformation goals and operational efficiency targets.

- Identify market trends, emerging technologies and best practices in procurement, sourcing and spend optimization.

- Develop business cases and support investments prioritisation based on value, risk and strategic impact.

Product Ownership & Delivery

- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and alignment with business objectives.

- Translate business requirements into epics, features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

- Work closely with engineering, UX, architecture, business GTM and data teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Lead sprint planning, refinement sessions, reviews and product demonstrations.

- Ensure solutions meet user needs while balancing technical feasibility, scalability and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Management

- Build strong relationships with Business GTM, Sales, IT and Operations teams.

- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, validate solutions and drive alignment across stakeholder groups.

- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and prioritization.

- Present roadmap updates, product performance metrics and recommendations to senior leadership.

User Experience & Customer Focus

- Champion user-centric design and continuous improvement.

- Support user research, stakeholder interviews and usability testing.

- Analyse user feedback, support tickets and platform analytics to identify enhancement opportunities.

- Ensure adoption and satisfaction across multiple user personas, including approvers, buyers and procurement administrators.

Data & Performance Management

- Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics for the product.

- Use data and insights to drive prioritization and decision-making.

- Track platform adoption, procurement cycle times, spend under management, compliance rates, and operational efficiency improvements.

- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.

What You’ll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Digital Product Delivery.

- Experience working with procurement, purchasing, or enterprise workflow platforms preferable.

- Proven experience managing complex enterprise applications and cross-functional delivery teams.

- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum and product management best practices.

- Experience managing product roadmaps and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Jaggaer, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar solutions.

- Knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes.

- Experience working in multinational, matrixed organizations.
