About the Role

Motorola is looking for a Product Designer specializing in Growth to join the Software Monetization Design team. This hands-on individual contributor will serve as the team’s growth design reference, creating and optimizing high-quality digital experiences while mentoring designers and partnering closely with Product, Research, Analytics, Engineering, Design, and Business Development.

The role combines strong end-to-end UX/UI skills with expertise in data-informed design, growth frameworks, experimentation, and continuous optimization to improve customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the team’s growth design reference, promoting data-informed design practices and helping the team connect user experiences with product and business outcomes.

- Lead end-to-end design work, using customer insights, product data, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and refine experiences from discovery and user flows through prototyping, implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.

- Review design work and provide actionable feedback, while mentoring designers on growth thinking, data-informed design, experimentation, and product outcomes.

- Partner closely with Product, Research, Analytics, Engineering, Design, and Business Development to understand customer behavior, identify opportunities, and balance user needs with product and software monetization goals.

- Influence stakeholders, clearly communicate insights and design decisions, and bring external product, growth, and experimentation best practices into the team.

Required Qualifications

- Extensive end-to-end Product Design experience, combining strong UX and UI craft with product and growth thinking across complex digital experiences.

- Strong experience using product data, customer insights, behavioral patterns, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and inform design decisions.

- Strong knowledge of growth frameworks, experimentation, hypothesis-driven design, and continuous product optimization practices.

- Experience partnering closely with Product, Research, and Analytics teams to frame customer problems, identify opportunities, define hypotheses, and evaluate product outcomes.

- Experience acting as a growth design reference, mentoring designers and influencing product and design decisions without direct people-management responsibility.

- Advanced English with strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate across global Product, Engineering, Design, and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with B2C products, mobile platforms, Android ecosystems, or large-scale digital experiences.

- Strong facilitation skills, including cross-functional workshops, discovery, problem framing, and ideation.

- Familiarity with software monetization, subscriptions, advertising, digital services, user engagement, or conversion-focused products.

A portfolio or work sample is required to apply for this role. Candidates will be asked to discuss their work during the interview process. The person best suited for this role will be able to demonstrate storytelling, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through this discussion.
