## Your Purpose

The LNG Manager is responsible for inspecting the construction and outfitting of the related LNG equipment and that fitting is done according to international regulation, ship’s contract, technical specifications, and builder standards. This role is controlling the quality of the materials used, the compliance with regulation and with IGF Code and highlighting any discrepancies within the approved project. Potential adjustments when minor technical issues are identified by this role, during the construction phase, may be recorded and shared within the Site team and new building division as lesson learnt to be implemented on next projects.

## Your Impact

- Ensures that areas under the described discipline are built within the set timescale and in line with the approved technical design, contractual requirements, and functional requisites.
- Follows the installation and outfitting of all LNG equipment and piping maintaining accurate and up to date records of all activities and inspections.
- Attends project meetings and prepares progress reports.
- Ensures that all commissioning activities are held in accordance with the scope and the specifications, are approved by class and relevant authorities such us Flag and USCG representatives.
- Suggests minor adjustments as may be found necessary on site and follows implementation and development of any architectural / technical design change.
- Highlights relevant aspects of the approved design that can be improved for future constructions.
- Involves the Technical Site Specialist(s) during the construction and commissioning phase to ensure that technical accessibility and functionality of equipment is duly verified.
- Highlights relevant aspects of the ship’s design and technical features that might jeopardise the functional requisites and must be improved for the current project or can be improved for future constructions with new building department approval.
- Assists with Plan Approval activities as required.

## Your Journey so far

- Fluency in English, knowledge of Italian or French is a plus.
- A Degree relevant to shipbuilding or equivalent qualification or significant relevant experience is required, however no degree but proven experience in operations is also considered as validation for application.
- Substantial experience with delivering inspections of technical areas on ship’s building and or refitting projects or onboard cruise vessels in operations.
- Good knowledge of IGF Code.
- Good knowledge of piping, electrical machinery inspection is a plus as she/he may be requested to cooperate with the technical teams for the daily inspections included within the ship’s construction.
- Experience in a leadership position on board LNG vessels or cruise ships with LNG duty might be beneficial.
- Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office (including Excel, MS Word, MS Project or equivalent and PowerPoint);
- Familiarity with Marine Rules and International Standards and Regulations.
- Ability to review new building specifications and to read and understand a variety of engineering drawings.
- Ability to review RCA and technical reports to ensure lesson learnt and their application during construction.

## Your Essentials

- The ability to travel when required

This opportunity offers a gross annual salary range of €70,000 to €80,000, depending on experience and relevant expertise, alongside a competitive package of additional benefits.
