Scope of Position

Administer non-vehicle equipment accountability, authorizations and custodian support as the Equipment Accountability Element (EAE). Provide centralized equipment-record control and custodian coordination for Wing equipment assets. Work with Accountable and Responsible Officers to maintain traceable authorizations, transactions and account documentation. Reconcile equipment information and support property reviews while remaining separate from warehouse custody and inventory-count execution under the proposed operating approach.

Tasks and Capabilities Required

· Maintain equipment accounts, custody receipts, authorization records and SPRAM files.

· Process equipment transactions in DPAS and research rejected transactions.

· Conduct organizational visits and verify equipment location, accountability and supporting records.

· Coordinate equipment deployments, transfers and inventories. Perform no other assigned duties; qualified alternate coverage is required.

· Maintain current custodian appointments, authorization listings and equipment account files; identify missing or inconsistent records.

· Track account discrepancies, overdue actions and required reconciliations through resolution.

· Prepare supporting documentation for property audits and coordinate reconciliation/status reviews with the materiel manager.

· Observe required physical verification and organizational-review procedures without assuming warehouse receiving, inventory counting, physical property handling or overlapping TRIC duties.

Mandatory Experience and Certifications

· Experience using Air Force ILS-S/ESS or applicable AFITS within the last five years; B-TE-9 does not state a minimum duration for that systems experience.

· At least one year of base-level general materiel management experience.

· DPAS or similar-system proficiency and working knowledge of DoDI 5000.64_DAFI 23-111 and DAFI 23-101, paragraph 1.6.19.

· Meet B1.2.2 general materiel qualifications: Air Force 2S051 skill-level requirements, two years in an Air Force materiel management activity, or civilian-equivalent experience.

Additional required capabilities and onboarding

· Government property-accountability systems training, as committed in the proposal qualification matrix.

· Ability to reconcile asset records, explain discrepancies and maintain an auditable record of authorized equipment actions.

· Maintain required on-site core-hour coverage and after-hours availability for the assigned position.

· Read, write and speak English fluently when interfacing with Government representatives; provide current qualification records for verification.

· Complete required background/access processing, HSPD-12 credentialing and applicable onboarding/safety training before the assigned duties; complete the proposal’s Lautenberg certification process.
