## About the role

The New Product Initiative Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end development and commercialization of new products and business initiatives that drive sustainable business growth. This role identifies market opportunities, develops and executes innovation projects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, delivering customer value, operational readiness, and financial objectives while aligning with the company's strategic priorities.

New Product Development, Existing Product Development, New Category Creation, Sourcing Site Change, NR/GM Protection, Promotion Development, Continuous Improvement

Your responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Innovation

- Identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities for new products and business initiatives.

- Develop and evaluate new product concepts aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and business feasibility assessments.

- Build business cases and recommendations for leadership review and approval.

- Create and maintain a pipeline of innovation and product development initiatives.

Project Leadership & Execution

- Lead new product development projects from ideation through commercialization and post-launch review.

- Establish project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.

- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.

- Ensure adherence to internal governance processes and stage-gate requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Marketing to define product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.

- Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure production readiness and launch capability.

- Work closely with Finance to assess financial viability and business performance.

- Coordinate with Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure all requirements are met.

- Facilitate stakeholder alignment and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Product Launch & Commercialization

- Develop and execute launch plans to ensure successful market introduction.

- Track launch readiness across all functions and manage critical dependencies.

- Analyze post-launch performance against business objectives and success metrics.

- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities based on market feedback and performance data.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Monitor project KPIs, timelines, budgets, and launch outcomes.

- Prepare executive-level presentations, business updates, and performance reports.

- Drive accountability and transparency across project teams and stakeholders.

The experience we're looking for

- Experience in Product Management, Innovation, New Product Development, Project Management, Commercial Excellence, or related functions.

- Proven track record of successfully launching new products or business initiatives.

- Experience managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with stage-gate product development methodologies is preferred.
