- Help participants develop adaptive techniques, compensatory strategies, and practical skills to navigate everyday challenges.

- Assess and recommend assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to promote safety and independence.

- Monitor participant progress, adjust treatment plans, and celebrate meaningful milestones.

- Educate participants, families, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic strategies that support continued success.

- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary professionals to coordinate participant-centered care.

- Provide clinical direction and supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

- Maintain accurate and timely evaluations, progress notes, treatment documentation, and required billing records.

What We're Looking For

- Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license required.

- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

- Current CPR/First Aid certification.

- Experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, or in community-based rehabilitation settings preferred.

- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse physical, cognitive, and communication needs.

- Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants.

- A compassionate, creative, and patient-centered approach to rehabilitation.
