About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Analyst & Coordinator Intern to join our Business Team, supporting the Business Director and the team across business intelligence, market research, business development and day-to-day coordination activities.
This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the business side of the international live entertainment and experiential industry, contributing to a dynamic and ever-evolving portfolio of projects.
The intern will support the team in gathering and analyzing information, researching markets and potential business opportunities, preparing reports and presentations, and coordinating activities across internal departments and external stakeholders.
Main Activities:
Market & Business Research
• Support the research and monitoring of market trends, competitors, companies, projects and business models within the live entertainment and experiential sectors.
• Collect and organize business intelligence from industry reports, public sources, events and other relevant materials.
• Research new companies, potential clients, partners and business opportunities.
• Monitor relevant developments and trends and share useful insights with the Business team.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports and research documents for internal stakeholders.
Business Intelligence & Tools
• Support the creation and updating of databases, spreadsheets, dashboards and other business intelligence tools.
• Help maintain and organize internal databases and business development materials.
• Keep the library of templates, presentations, documents and other reusable resources
up to date.
Business Development & Networking
• Research relevant trade shows, conferences, industry events and speaking opportunities.
• Support the team in identifying opportunities to strengthen BWS's market positioning.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of team participation in relevant industryevents.
Team Coordination & Administration
• Provide day-to-day organizational support to the Business team.
• Support travel coordination, scheduling and other administrative activities.
• Help coordinate information and materials between the Business team and other internal departments.
• Act as a support point for day-to-day operational needs of the team.
Bid & Proposal Support
During the bid and proposal phase, the intern will support the team in:
• Collecting and organizing project documentation from the departments involved.
• Supporting the completion of accreditation processes, liaising with Commercial and Administration teams.
• Assisting with the preparation and uploading of tender documentation to suppliers' portals.
• Keeping track of deadlines and required documentation.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or currently studying, in Business, Economics, Management, Marketing, International Business, Arts Management or a related field.
• Strong interest in live entertainment, experiential projects and the creative industries.
• Curiosity about business development, market research and the international entertainment industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good analytical and research skills, with the ability to collect, organize and summarize information clearly.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and spoken English; Italian is a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Previous internship, university project or extracurricular experience in business,
events, entertainment, marketing or related fields is a plus, but not required.
