Quality Control - Inspector

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality Control team. In this role, you will perform inspections on electrical equipment, identify quality issues, and ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards. Your work will play a key role in maintaining EPD's reputation for quality and reliability.

What You'll Do:

Inspection & Quality Assurance

- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of electrical products.

- Verify compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

- Identify and document defects, discrepancies, and nonconformities.

Documentation & Reporting

- Record inspection results and labor entries in the ERP system.

- Prepare nonconformity reports and communicate findings to supervisors.

- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.

Safety & Continuous Improvement

- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

- Support quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions.

- Assist with maintaining inspection tools and equipment.

What You Bring:

- High school diploma or GED required.

- 6+ months of quality control, inspection, or related experience preferred.

- Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in electrical manufacturing.

- Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification preferred.

- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
