The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations and lead a team of warehouse professionals in support of EPD's manufacturing and customer delivery commitments. This role is responsible for driving safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and employee development while ensuring materials and finished goods move through the warehouse accurately and on schedule.

What You'll Do

Warehouse Operations Management

- Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate material movement.

- Coordinate receiving, inventory, replenishment, kitting, and shipping activities.

- Monitor operational performance and ensure alignment with production schedules.

- Manage staffing levels, schedules, and workload distribution.

- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements.

- Support fulfillment of production and customer delivery commitments.

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Leads and Material Associates.

- Conduct performance discussions, coaching sessions, and employee development activities.

- Support onboarding and training programs for new employees.

- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

- Address performance concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Safety, Compliance & Auditing

- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.

- Conduct warehouse inspections, safety audits, and operational reviews.

- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.

- Ensure all required training and certifications remain current.

- Maintain compliance with labor, transportation, and safety regulations.

Inventory & Continuous Improvement

- Monitor inventory accuracy and warehouse performance metrics.

- Coordinate cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.

- Analyze operational data and KPI performance.

- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and customer service.

What You Bring

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience and 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.

- Experience with ERP systems and handheld scanners.

- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while supervising operations, conducting audits, and performing facility inspections.

- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to lift bulky or awkwardly shaped items weighing up to 35 pounds from floor level or above shoulder height.

- Ability to safely perform team lifts for items exceeding individual lifting limits or involving ergonomic challenges such as uneven weight distribution or repetitive motion.

- Ability to work effectively in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold exposure.

- Ability to safely operate or oversee the operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.

- Ability to travel throughout warehouse and production areas to support operations and employee supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

- Forklift Certification.

- OSHA 10 certification.

- Experience with Global Shop Solutions (GSS) ERP.

- Lean manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain experience.

- Proven success leading teams in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
