We have opportunities in communities including Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Dana Point, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, and surrounding South Orange County areas , depending on client needs.
Position Details
- Position: Caregiver / Home Care Aide (HCA)
- Pay: $18–$23 per hour
- Pay Schedule: Weekly — direct deposit every Friday
- Location: South Orange County, CA
- Care Setting: One-on-one, in-home care
- Schedule: Flexible
- Shifts: Morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts depending on client needs
- Scheduling: Available shifts are communicated by text, email, or directly through our scheduling team

Client locations and available shifts vary based on current care needs.
What You'll Do
As a Caregiver, you may provide assistance with:
- Personal care and hygiene
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Fall prevention and safety support
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable guidelines
- Companionship and client engagement
- Grocery shopping and approved errands
- Accompanying clients to appointments and approved outings
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Providing respectful, dependable support in the client's home
Caregiver Requirements
We're looking for caregivers who are compassionate, dependable, and responsible.
Requirements include:
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience
- Must have a Home Care Aide (HCA) number or be willing to obtain one
- Must be willing to complete a required Live Scan/background check (if needed)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Dependable transportation to client assignments
- Able to assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Reliable communication with clients and the care team
- Compassionate and respectful approach to client care
HCA & Live Scan
Don't have your HCA registration yet? You may still apply if you are willing to obtain one.
- HCA registration: approximately $35
- Live Scan: approximately $70–$90 , depending on location
- Eligible HCA and Live Scan fees are reimbursable after completing 30 hours of shifts with CareWorks Health Services * (terms & conditions apply*)
