Stockroom Attendant (2nd Shift)

Great company in Hebron KY needs a 2nd Shift Material Handler Stockroom Attendant who is responsible for deliveirng product to production lines as part of replenishment. Mon-Fri  2:00p-10:30p  pay is $19.50/hr. Really good benefits when hired on!

This position is responsible for the pulling of production orders and replenishment for production. It also involves the putting away of incoming product (production and incoming receiving). Product is moved in the warehouse using a forklift and moved to the production floor with a forklift or hand pallet truck. Computers and IPads are used to make stock transactions.

Essential Job Functions:
The primary function of this position is to support production operations by accurately pulling and delivering materials, replenishing stock, and putting away incoming products. This role ensures efficient material flow between the warehouse and production floor by operating forklifts or pallet trucks and completing stock transactions in company systems, while maintaining safety, accuracy, and workplace cleanliness.

Primary Responsibities : • Monitor the workorders/ Kanban requests • Keying of product to the appropriate lines • Delivery of product to the appropriate lines • Understand and follow all safety procedures/policies • Maintains a clean and safe work area

Required Qualifications and Skills : • High School diploma or equivalent • Ability to input data on computer to create a daily inventory report. • Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items received. • Pass Forklift test (sitdown/TSP) • Excellent visual skills to inspect shipments

Physical Demands: Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, to operate a motor vehicle and forklift; strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. The job involves walking and working on slippery surfaces. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment. All employees must wear company approved safety glasses while in the plant and distribution areas.

Environmental Elements : Employees primarily work in the warehouse and are exposed to loud noise levels, vibration, chemicals, dust, mechanical hazards, and moving objects or other vehicles. May be exposed to cold and hot temperatures, inclement weather conditions, mechanical hazards, and hazardous physical substances and fumes. Employees may interact with staff and/or public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.50 - $19.50 Per Hour
