Position: Licensed Customs Broker
Location: Valley Stream, NY

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000/yr, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate

Responsibilities:
File accurate and timely customs entries, ensuring proper dispatch of cargo and follow-up on proof of delivery. Monitor billing processes to ensure timely and correct invoicing for shipments. Ensure compliance with U.S. government agency regulations, corporate standards, and customer SOPs. Troubleshoot and resolve operational and billing issues related to customs clearance. Maintain knowledge of departmental functions, including billing, ISF, and customs compliance. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient customs processing. Attend customer meetings to address customs-related concerns and provide compliance guidance. Conduct entry and billing audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
Active Customs Broker License required. Strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, tariff classification, and entry procedures. Experience in customs entry processing and troubleshooting compliance issues. Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
