Description
Actalent is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to support utility operations for electric and gas service customers. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for customers, internal operations teams, and field personnel to ensure timely processing of service requests and successful execution of customer projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments while delivering a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Process electric and gas service applications and create associated work orders.
Establish new customer accounts and complete meter-related transactions within the Customer Service System (CSS).
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by providing project updates, service status information, and response to inquiries.
Schedule customer appointments for electric and gas service-related work.
Monitor work order and project progress to ensure timely completion and resolution of customer requests.
Coordinate communication between customers, field personnel, engineering teams, and operations departments.
Partner with gas and electric department stakeholders to support new service installations, upgrades, relocations, and customer-driven projects.
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within internal systems.
Verify service requests, account information, and project details to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
Escalate customer concerns and service issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
Support continuous improvement efforts related to customer service processes and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of customer service, administrative, utility operations, scheduling, or project coordination experience.
Strong computer skills and experience working with customer information systems, databases, or enterprise software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
