About this role
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and coordinate daily soft services operations (Cleaning, Pest Control, Waste Management) to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Supervise site teams and monitor performance to meet service standards and client expectations.
- Assist the superior in managing all vendors (contractors, suppliers, service providers etc.) who transact with the client and monitors all service provider/contractor performance, reporting against contract’s SLAs and KPIs.
- Support the Manager as the key liaison for clients on soft service-related matters.
- Coordinate and monitor vendors and contractors to ensure SLA and KPI compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain service quality and compliance.
- Manage incidents, complaints, and service issues, ensuring timely resolution and proper reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant licenses, insurances, and regulatory requirements.
- Support cost monitoring and assist in achieving contract performance targets.
- Identify areas for operational improvement to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in implementing sustainability and operational excellence initiatives across soft services.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Building Management, or related field from a university recognized by the Malaysian Government.
- 5–8 years of experience in Facilities Management, with strong exposure to soft services operations (Cleaning, Pest Control, Waste Management).
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory role, overseeing site teams and service providers.
- Strong operational knowledge with hands-on experience in managing site operations, service quality, and SLA/KPI compliance.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently while reporting to the Manager/Head of Department.
Remark: The contract tenure is one (1) year. Renewable contract subject to management approval.
