Step into a Senior Manager role in our Quality & Risk team, supporting Strategy, Risk & Transactions to grow confidently while meeting its professional and regulatory obligations.

What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you'll act as a trusted adviser to partners and practitioners across SR&T, helping them navigate complex and sensitive quality and risk matters. That includes advising across the engagement lifecycle - from client and engagement acceptance through to contracting, confidentiality, information security, conflicts, independence and delivery risk.

A big part of your impact will come from helping the business make sound, commercially balanced decisions. You'll identify key delivery risks, develop practical mitigation strategies, and turn regulatory developments, data and findings into clear actions and insights for leadership. The work also extends into new products, services and delivery models, including AI-enabled tools, where you'll collaborate with teams like ITS, the Business Security Office and the Office of General Counsel to manage risk early.

Working closely with senior risk professionals and stakeholders across the firm, you'll lead initiatives spanning assurance, reporting, framework improvement and change. You'll coach team members, review work and help create an inclusive, high-performing environment, while using strong judgement to know when to advise, challenge, consult or escalate.

As part of Deloitte's Quality, Risk and Regulatory community, this team supports Strategy, Risk & Transactions partners and practitioners to deliver high-quality services with confidence. Their focus is on embedding ethical judgement, practical risk management and commercial thinking into everyday decisions, helping protect and strengthen Deloitte's brand in a fast-moving and evolving market.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

- Around 8+ years of experience in risk management, quality, legal, compliance, governance or advisory roles

- Experience advising senior stakeholders on complex, ambiguous or sensitive matters with sound judgement and influence

- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance regulatory, reputational, quality and client service considerations

- Leadership experience, including coaching others, reviewing work and driving initiatives through to completion

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and engaging stakeholder style

- Strong analytical, lateral-thinking and problem-solving capability, with a practical approach

- Experience designing or improving frameworks, controls, reporting, assurance activities or related processes

- Interest in emerging technology, including AI, and how solutions are designed, tested, deployed and governed
