We’re looking for a Licensing Advisor to join our Licensing team and help keep our venues operating smoothly, confidently and compliantly across Australia and New Zealand.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of licensing applications and regulatory approvals from start to finish. Working closely with venues, Operations, Central Support teams and regulatory authorities, you’ll provide practical advice and help turn complex requirements into clear next steps.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing and lodging licence, permit, registrations applications.
- Managing applications from the initial request through to approval.
- Liaising professionally and proactively with regulatory authorities and other external stakeholders.
- Providing clear, accurate and commercially focused licensing advice.
- Keeping track of deadlines, risks, delays and opportunities to improve how we work.
- Maintaining accurate licensing records, registers and documentation.
- Preparing reports and briefs to support licensing decisions and forward planning.
- Keeping the business informed about regulatory changes and emerging risks.
- Contributing to licensing projects, process improvements and team initiatives.

About you

You’re organised, curious and solutions-focused, with the confidence to work across a fast-moving hospitality business. You enjoy getting into the detail, finding a way forward and helping others understand what needs to happen next.

You’ll ideally have:

- Experience preparing and managing regulatory applications, particularly across liquor licensing.
- Experience in hospitality, liquor, gaming or local government regulation.
- The ability to interpret legislation and turn it into straightforward, practical advice.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation, planning and time management skill.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong computer skills and the confidence to learn new systems and technology.
- High levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
- The confidence and interpersonal maturity to work with venues, senior stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Familiarity with licensing frameworks across Australia and New Zealand will be highly regarded.
