Responsibilities

- Lead M42’s strategic vendor relationships across Enterprise Business Services, serving as the principal relationship and escalation point for vendors, service owners, platforms and operating entities.

- Establish and lead the vendor governance rhythm, including performance reviews, executive business reviews, steering committees and escalation forums, with clear ownership and closure of agreed actions.

- Own the enterprise SLA and KPI framework for strategic contracts, ensuring consistent metric definitions, reliable performance data and alignment between vendor commitments and internal service expectations.

- Monitor service delivery and relationship health, proactively identifying performance deterioration, recurring issues and continuity risks, and driving corrective action with accountable stakeholders.

- Provide commercial oversight across the portfolio, monitoring pricing adherence, rate cards, volume commitments, entitlements, savings evidence, scope creep and off-contract expenditure.

- Shape renewal, extension, renegotiation and exit recommendations by consolidating vendor performance, commercial analysis, benchmarking, market position and contractual risk ahead of key decision dates.

- Maintain effective contract governance and assurance, including strategic contract information, risk and issue registers, breach records, corrective action plans, governance decisions and audit-ready evidence.

- Translate vendor, performance and commercial data into executive insight, providing clear reports and evidence-based recommendations to senior leadership while leading and developing assigned team members.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, Healthcare Administration or a related discipline.

- Ten to fourteen years of relevant experience in strategic vendor management, contract performance, outsourcing, supplier governance or commercial management.

- Demonstrated experience managing a high-value and complex vendor portfolio across multiple business units, legal entities, service areas or countries.

- Proven success managing global enterprise vendors and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders without relying on formal authority.

- Strong commercial and contractual expertise, including pricing structures, rate cards, service levels, savings validation, benchmarking, renewals and contractual remedies.

- Strong analytical and systems capability, including advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP, procure-to-pay or contract management platforms; familiarity with business intelligence reporting is advantageous.

- Excellent written and spoken English with strong executive communication skills; experience within healthcare, another regulated sector or a shared-services environment, professional certification such as CIPS, WorldCC or ITIL, and Arabic language capability are advantageous.
