Senior Specialist Technical Assistant for Engineering Lab

Join our Engineering Lab team and play a key role in advancing PCB assembly technologies and automation initiatives.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- Lead and optimize PCB assembly processes using both manual SMD soldering and automated manufacturing equipment
- Drive the setup, programming, and continuous improvement of SMT production workflows , including pick & place and reflow technologies
- Perform PCB testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to ensure high quality standards
- Design and review PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools
- Develop and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency within the engineering lab
- Create and maintain technical documentation and process standards

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- A degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics , or a related field.
- First experience  in PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing, or laboratory engineering (as an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes, PCB design and simulation, and automated assembly technologies
- Experience  with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle , or similar
- Interest in automation, process optimization, and programming
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Fluent English ; German skills are an advantage

The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
