Internship - Data Analysis & Reporting

The student will as part of the Data analytics and Reporting team support in further enhancing the reporting needs of the BE OSAT Procurement team. E.g. support the creation of our cost model database including Design for Sourcing portal.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- Requirements Gathering: Identify reporting needs through user interviews.
- Dashboard Development: Build data dashboards from scratch.
- Data Structuring & Standardization: Organize data in a structured way so it can be consistently used for reporting.
- Deployment & User Enablement: Deploy new dashboards to users and provide basic support to ensure adoption.
- Database Coding Support: Support coding activities for different databases (e.g., queries, data extraction, integration). Internship Learning Outcomes:
- Procurement Fundamentals: Develop an understanding of procurement main activities.
- OSAT Business Context: Gain understanding of the OSAT business environment and how procurement supports operations.
- Data Storytelling for Procurement: Learn the data needs of OSAT procurement professionals and best practices to present data effectively for decision-making.
- Cost Modeling Exposure: Assist in building a should-cost model to estimate fair manufacturing costs based on raw material cost, market rates, and logical calculation methodologies.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- Domain Interest: Background and/or strong interest in data science and data analytics.
- Technical Advantage: Bonus if you have coding capabilities and enjoy working with people to deliver solutions to their challenges.
- Learning Mindset: Receptive mindset with willingness to acquire new competencies quickly.
- Analytical Curiosity: Intellectual curiosity and desire to understand complex problems and propose meaningful
- Preferred intake : Able to commit to 5 months or longer internship
