About this role
As a Learning & Development Project Consultant, your role is to support the Team Leader in
overseeing and managing all aspects of learning and development projects for Ziyana Group's
clients in Africa. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the successful execution of learning
and development projects, ensuring client satisfaction and the achievement of organisational
goals.
Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned learning and development projects, ensuring
adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans for various initiatives, including
learner ships, skills programs, and leadership development.
- Facilitate regular communication and reporting on project progress,
milestones, and risks to stakeholders.
- Identify and allocate resources required for project implementation,
coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Assist facilitators in implementing learning programs, offering expert guidance
on challenges encountered.
Learner Support and Management:
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and registration of learners onto the Learning
Management System (LMS) as per project requirements.
- Complete all SETA Registrations within specified timelines and maintain updated
learner achievement status for all projects.
- Ensure accurate documentation and submission of necessary learner files before
training commencement.
- Provide assistance and respond to learner inquiries, offering necessary support
throughout the learning process.
Quality Assurance:
- Submit learner registration status to the Quality Assurance (QA) and Accreditations
Specialist for verification.
- Review unit standard presentations to ensure compliance with required standards
for specific learning programs.
- Coordinate with SETA for external moderation and certification of learners.
Documentation Management:
- Create and update learner files, ensuring all necessary documents are
submitted before classes commence.
- Ensure updated manuals are distributed to learners before the start of training
programs.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the L&D Administrator to ensure availability and timely
delivery of unit standard presentations and learning materials.
Reporting:
- Collect and file monthly reports from facilitators, learners, assessors, and
moderators.
- Provide monthly training reports per project to QA and Accreditations Specialist
& L&D Supervisor.
- Track learner attendance and assessments submissions.
LMS Administration:
- Administrate loading of learner information and material.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Degree/Diploma in business management, learning and development, or related
field.
- Project Management certification (preferred).
