About this role
Hook-up & Commissioning SPT :Lead and execute the offshore hook-up and commissioning of Single Point Terminal (SPT) systems, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and marine systems. The role ensures that the terminal is fully installed, commissioned, tested, and ready for crude or product transfer operations in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and operational standards detailed tasks.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of offshore marine terminal systems and oil loading infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, hook-up drawings, and vendor packages.
- Effective leadership, supervision, and coordination of multi-disciplined teams offshore.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and documentation control.
- Familiar with SIMOPS, offshore logistics, and vessel coordination.
- Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation / Instrumentation / Process Engineering from an accredited university.
- Work experience of twelve (12) years in the sought discipline after earning the university degree.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in total, with at least the last 3–5 years spent on offshore projects.
- Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
