You role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Scientist 1 to join our Mycoplasma team in Glasgow. The mycoplasma team performs a wide variety of assays to support biosafety testing of client product under GMP conditions, making scientific observations and completing documentation to the required industry standards. Your Responsibilities include aseptic product handling, documentation completion (including verification signatures), ensuring activities are compliant and working with Supervisors to ensure the facility is maintained within regulatory expectations. You will also work closely with Senior Associate Scientist, Scientist and Associate Scientist teams to ensure each day is organised and activities performed correctly. Please note that this position is flexible and you may be required to train in other areas of the company and may be required to work from our Stirling site on occasion.

Who you are:

- You have an HND or higher qualification in a Biological Science discipline with 0-2 years experience in a scientific laboratory role.
- Experience with Aseptic Technique is desirable.
- You are strongly focused on quality and safety.
- You have strong planning and organisational skills.
- You have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are self motivated with strong initiative and drive.
- You have a good standard of written and spoken English and are computer literate.
