Senior Commercial Consultancy Manager

The project: We are supporting the delivery of one of the UK's most significant and complex rail infrastructure programmes, providing specialist commercial advisory services across a major portfolio of projects and delivery partners.

As a Senior Commercial Consultancy Manager, you will play a key role in providing commercial leadership, governance and strategic advice within a complex programme environment. Working closely with clients, delivery teams and industry partners, you will support the successful management of commercial performance, contract administration, risk and change management across a portfolio of major projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Championing safety, quality, sustainability and compliance.
- Managing key commercial assignments across the programme.
- Administering contracts and commercial documentation.
- Assessing commercial impacts of design and programme changes.
- Developing commercial strategies and governance frameworks.
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
- Building trusted client and stakeholder relationships.
- Managing, mentoring and developing commercial teams.

You’ll need to have :

- MRICS, or equivalent professional qualification, or working towards chartership.
- Extensive commercial management experience within major rail infrastructure programmes.
- Experience working within a consultancy, client-side or programme delivery environment.
- Strong NEC contract knowledge, including contract administration, compensation events, change management and commercial governance.
- Experience managing commercial risk, cost management, forecasting and programme controls activities.
- Proven experience supporting complex infrastructure projects through the delivery lifecycle.
- Ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, clients and delivery partners.
- Experience leading and developing commercial professionals within multidisciplinary teams.
- Right to work in the UK.
