## Our Team, Your Impact

We are seeking an experienced  Senior Production Manager to lead all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Stouffville. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production operations while driving operational excellence, productivity, quality, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction to production teams and play a key role in achieving site objectives, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Production Manager serves as a key operational leader, ensuring that all activities are performed in accordance with cGMP requirements, company policies, and health and safety standards.

## How You’ll Spend Your Day

#### Leadership & People Management

- Lead the recruitment, development, deployment, and utilization of production staff while managing labor and operational costs to meet production objectives.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to supervisory teams while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and high performance.
- Develop a strong leadership pipeline and support employee development through career growth initiatives and succession planning.
- Lead strategic initiatives aligned with annual business plans and site objectives.
- Promote employee engagement, recognition, and a positive workplace culture.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOP, SOX, EH&S, and corporate quality standards.
- Act as a key contact during regulatory inspections and communications with health authorities, customers, and internal quality partners.
- Partner closely with Quality Assurance to ensure deviations, investigations, and CAPAs are completed effectively and in a timely manner.
- Drive a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous regulatory readiness across the manufacturing operation.

Operational Excellence

- Drive manufacturing performance, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Support the implementation and sustainability of operational excellence programs, visual management systems, TPM, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional partners to optimize manufacturing processes, resources, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure production schedules are executed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Participate in strategic site planning and initiatives supporting growth, productivity, optimization, and future capacity expansion.

Site Leadership

- Provide overall leadership for manufacturing operations and support key business initiatives.
- Ensure alignment across safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Support business continuity and provide operational leadership during critical situations as required, including supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

## Your Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 5-7 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading teams in pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or other highly regulated GMP environments.
- Experience in areas such as production, engineering, maintenance, process improvement, planning, dispensing, compounding, tableting, encapsulation, coating, or related operational functions is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, packaging operations, and GMP requirements.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including WHMIS and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, deviation management systems, maintenance management systems, and workforce management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive operational excellence.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Travel between sites as required.

At Teva Canada we provide a rewarding and collaborative work experience, with career growth and development opportunities for employees, in a safe and caring environment!  The typical hiring range for this position is $126,960-$158,700.  The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role may qualify for an annual bonus based on employment type. Certain positions may also be eligible for a sales commission structure as part of the overall compensation package.
