## Our Team, Your Impact

The Manager, Systems & Automation is responsible for planning, defining, managing, and overseeing business processes implemented within Global Clinical Operations, including CTMS and related clinical platforms. The role is accountable for ensuring processes are effectively translated into technology solutions while driving continuous improvement through automation, data insights, and AI-enabled capabilities.

The position collaborates extensively with internal and external stakeholders, including CRO personnel, study teams, IT, Data & Analytics, Digital, Training, and Quality teams, to optimize clinical operations processes, improve efficiency, and support innovation initiatives across GCO.

## How You’ll Spend Your Day

- Support management of clinical operations processes, including leading and optimization of data collection processes and associated system implementation across Global Clinical Operations, including process mapping, stakeholder analysis, and interface assessments.
- Development and maintenance of system interfaces including collaboration with internal and external functions to support interface management.
- Analyze CRO processes representation within CTMS and associated interfaces to ensure process compliance and data integrity.
- Support inspection readiness activities by ensuring clinical operations systems, process documentation, data quality, and system outputs are maintained in an inspection-ready state.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define business processes, methodologies, and system requirements while ensuring alignment with operational objectives.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define, evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance productivity, compliance, and user experience.
- Support development and adoption of GenAI use cases for data review, process assistance and operational efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain departmental work instructions, job aids, process documentation, and training materials.

## Your Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in Clinical Development, preferably within Clinical Operations.
- Experience supporting and managing clinical trial technology systems, including gathering business requirements, process design, system implementation, and user support.
- Experience working with Veeva platforms, CTMS, eTMF, or related clinical systems.
- Experience in business process improvement, workflow optimization, and technology-driven transformation initiatives.
- Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders without direct reporting relationships.
- Knowledge of data governance, system integrations, reporting, and operational analytics.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and vendor relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience supporting AI, automation, digital transformation, analytics, or innovation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Claude Code, Power Platform, Power BI, Power Automate, AI-enabled solutions, or low-code/no-code technologies.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed pharmaceutical environment.
