BI Analyst / Biznesa inteliģences analītiķis/-e | SEB, Riga

More than 200 systems and applications supporting our products, business processes, channels, and data are created and maintained within the Product & Technology Development department. 
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Baltic Business Intelligence team, working across data warehouses, data models, reporting, and BI solutions. You will bridge business and technology by collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and architects to turn business needs into effective data solutions, while taking ownership from analysis through implementation. 
The role offers broad exposure across the Baltics and the opportunity to influence how data is used for decision-making across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Gather, clarify, and challenge business requirements, translating them into clear functional and technical requirements.

- Analyse data and assess the impact of changes on existing solutions.

- Design and document data structures, tables, data models, and solution requirements in collaboration with developers and architects.

- Work hands-on with SQL to analyse, validate, and investigate data.

- Contribute to the design and improvement of BI, reporting, and data solutions, working with developers and architects to turn requirements into effective implementations.

- Take ownership of analysis tasks within Agile delivery, proactively collaborating with stakeholders and driving work through to completion.

You will be the right fit if you have:

- Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to clarify and challenge requirements when needed

- Solid SQL skills and the ability to work directly with data

- Analytical thinking with the ability to understand both detailed requirements and the bigger picture

- Experience translating business needs into technical or data-related solutions

- Good understanding of data warehousing principles, data structures, schemas, and data modelling concepts.

- A proactive and responsible approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks forward

- Good written and spoken English for collaboration across the Baltics
