About this role
The Maintenance Mechanic supports the Muskogee facility by executing scheduled preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and inspections on production equipment under general supervision. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork while providing hands‑on experience and training opportunities to develop mechanical maintenance expertise.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 0–2 years of mechanical maintenance, manufacturing, military, vocational, or related experience.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance practices.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring/diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read simple work instructions and identify common mechanical components.
- Effective communication skills with supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment as required.
- Commitment to follow all NOV safety, quality, environmental, and Lockout/Tagout requirements.
- Basic documentation and computer skills.
- Team‑oriented, dependable, detail‑focused, and safety‑focused attitude.
