Telecommunications Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Telecommunications
Project Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will
lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex information and
communications technology (ICT) and infrastructure projects. You will oversee
multi-million-dollar structured cabling, fiber optic network, and low-voltage
systems build-outs across enterprise commercial, healthcare, and industrial
sites.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge of BICSI/TIA
standards paired with strong leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary
field teams, maintain strict budget controls, and act as the primary liaison
for client stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

· Project Lifecycle Management: Lead ICT
infrastructure projects from initial scoping and estimating through
engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and final hand-off.

· Standards & Compliance: Ensure all
structured cabling, data center designs, and network distribution paths
strictly adhere to BICSI, ANSI/TIA, and local Houston building codes.

· Team & Vendor Leadership: Manage
on-site technicians, sub-contractors, and field crews. Conduct safety briefings
and quality control audits to maintain high execution standards.

· Financial Management: Track project
milestones, manage budgets, process change orders, and optimize resource
allocation to protect project margins.

· Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the
central point of contact for clients, MEP engineers, and general contractors,
providing transparent updates and proactively mitigating project risks.

Requirements

· Education & Experience: Bachelor’s
degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (or
equivalent field experience) with 5+ years of direct experience managing
low-voltage or telecommunications projects.

· Industry Certifications (Highly Preferred):

o Active BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager) or RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer).

o PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a strong plus.

· Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding
of structured cabling (Cat6A, Fiber Optic, OSP/ISP), AV systems,
security/access control, and network architecture. Proficiency with project
software (e.g., MS Project , Procore, Bluebeam) or BIM/Revit workflows.

· Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the
Houston commercial construction market, local permitting processes, and
regional safety protocols.
