Location: 3000 Skyline Dr, Mesquite, TX (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time, W2 Contract
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour + $0.75/hour night shift differential
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Work Environment: Temperature-controlled manufacturing facility

Our client is a vertically integrated solar manufacturer producing ingots, wafers, cells, solar modules (panels), and custom-designed solar power applications. They supply high-quality solar products to customers worldwide, and their team works closely with each customer to deliver solutions for all of their solar needs.
Position Summary
The Production Operator I performs hands-on work in a manufacturing plant, using a variety of hand and power tools to support efficient, high-quality production. This role follows established procedures and all safety protocols and workplace policies to keep operations safe and productive.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect final assemblies for finish, labeling, and packaging compliance
- Verify mechanical dimensions and perform go/no-go electrical tests
- Identify, mark, and segregate acceptable and defective assemblies
- Collect, record, and summarize inspection and test results
- Complete manual assembly, cleaning, testing, and inspection tasks according to work instructions
- Prepare, sort, load, and unload materials for machines and manual workstations
- Operate and monitor automated assembly equipment, including robotic and fixed automation systems
- Conduct cosmetic and functional inspections, and mark, record, and report any defects
- Clean and prepare work areas, workstations, and equipment
- Work with equipment operators to support machine alignment, movement, adjustment, and material handling
- Carry out all work with the highest ethical standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work a Continental Shift (12-hour days or nights)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Knowledge of workplace safety
- First Aid and CPR certification
