Description

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking an Outside Sales Manager to help launch and establish our new branch in Fayetteville, AR. This role offers the opportunity to enter a new market, build Spectra’s customer presence from the ground up, and directly influence the early growth and long-term success of the branch.

The Outside Sales Manager will lead business development across the territory, build relationships with key industry customers, and create a strong pipeline of new opportunities. Partnering closely with branch and operational leadership, this individual will help establish the customer base and execute a sales strategy that supports long-term revenue growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, entrepreneurial sales professional with strong prospecting, relationship-building, and business development skills who is comfortable building a market from the ground up.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue within the assigned territory.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and self-generated leads.
- Identify and pursue opportunities within the local market and surrounding territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Develop an understanding of local customer needs, market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements while supporting revenue and profitability objectives.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage customer activity, track sales opportunities, and maintain accurate records.
- Partner with branch leadership, operations, production, and distribution teams to support customer satisfaction and order fulfillment.
- Support customer introductions, local market outreach, and business development activities associated with the new branch opening.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates on pipeline activity, market opportunities, and customer needs.
- Represent Spectra professionally and promote strong, long-term customer partnerships.

Requirements

- 3-5 years of outside sales or business development experience preferred.
- Experience within building materials, construction products, manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow customer relationships within a territory-based sales environment.
- Experience building or expanding a territory, market, or book of business strongly preferred.
- Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing an active sales pipeline.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of revenue growth and territory management.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, developing market.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, branch operations, and leadership teams.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
