At Booz Allen, you’ll use your personal experience, training, certifications, and good judgment to build solutions in support of critical DoW collection priorities. As a Technical Targeting Specialist, you’ll bring your targeting and analytical expertise to directly improve critical operational outcomes for our Defense mission clients. You’ll be a trusted advisor and share knowledge and findings that have a direct impact on the ability of our warfighters and policymakers to advance the defense interests of the United States.

You Have:

- Experience with specialized technical training such as SIGINT or open-source research
- Experience applying technical acumen across dynamic problem sets, rapidly familiarizing with unfamiliar systems or technologies, and engaging with intelligence, engineering, and operational stakeholders
- Knowledge of modern network topologies or architecture components, including data centers, telecommunications and fiber optic backbones, and software and hardware supply chain
- Ability to apply technical understanding and logical reasoning to independently identify likely vulnerabilities, attack surfaces, anomalies, systemic weaknesses, and investigative leads from incomplete information
- Ability to demonstrate multidisciplinary technical curiosity and an interest in applying a hunter mindset to intelligence analysis, systems research, and emerging technologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in technical computer network target development or analysis in support of cyberoperations, or 6+ years of experience technical computer network target development or analysis in support of cyberoperations in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

- Experience with computer-based tools, including CRATE/IMM, DataXplorer (DX), Mosaic, ROCKSTAR, NGT, QLIX, and Analyst Notebook
- Experience in technical target analysis, including application of tools, processes, and tradecraft for creation and delivery of collection concepts, target insights, and foundational intelligence
- Experience performing broad all-source technical target research for the purpose of filling information gaps, developing technical characterizations of targets, and identifying target vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of penetration testing, ethical hacking, vulnerability research, network exploitation vectors, and cyber aggressor TTPs
- Knowledge of the PACOM AOR, DoW components, and the wider IC
- Knowledge of critical infrastructure security and ICS or SCADA systems and concepts
- CompTIA Security+ or Network+ Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
