Program Analyst III

Amentum is seeking a Program Analyst III to support a Navy contract.

This is a hybrid position based out of Washington DC , the role will require on-site support 1-3 days a week.

As a member of this team you :

- Need to be a motivated self-starter with experience in the overall planning, direction, and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives that have great significance to the Navy’s Submarine needs.
- Have experience in collecting, reviewing, and analyzing information to make recommendations to the Government.
- Proficiency is required in defining the nature and extent of problems, analyzing relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, cost performance, schedule, or expenditures.
- Develop solutions to problems and prepare recommendations,
- Understand & uphold the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
- Prepare and report findings and recommendations to the Government.
- Prepare written reports and prepare oral presentations on findings etc.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience with Navy Program Management.
- 2+ years of experience with Navy Engineering Support.
- Ability to analyze and process engineering program documentation.
- Ability to assess and update spend plans.
- Ability to develop/document/implement new processes.
- Ability to analyze program risks and develop risk assessments.
- Must be proactive, work independently, and within a team environment.
- Must be available/provide in-office coverage when the Government APMs/client is out of office- at the maximum extent possible be in the office when the Government APMs/client is out.
- Ability to travel to support client (minimal, Washington, DC, Manassas, VA, etc.)
- Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

- NAVSEA and/or Team Submarine experience.
- Experience or familiarity with the BYG-1 submarine combat system.
- Experience or familiarity with the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical System (SWFTS).

Compensation Details:
80,000-100,000
