Blending Technician

Job Title: EMC-Technician Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated EMC-Technician to join our team, operating on the 1st shift (6am-3pm) from Monday to Friday with minimal overtime. This role involves ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and production procedures in a collaborative and safety-conscious environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all GMP, HACCP, and production procedures are followed and documented for assigned work.
- Perform manual production tasks such as material handling and staging, batching, packaging, cleaning, and sanitizing.
- Utilize a computer inventory control system.
- Efficiently perform assigned tasks and duties as assigned.
- Follow safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Essential Skills
- 6 months to 5 years of experience in food production, mixing, or blending.
- Experience with HACCP and GMP.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to manage frequent changes and respond professionally under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge of food safety requirements including HACCP.
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and the Safe Quality Food program.
- Experience in liquid or dairy blending is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated.
- Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. This is a direct placement position. Benefits will be provided upon start of assignment or sooner if requested by the candidate.
