Senior Electrical Engineer

Description The Lead Electrical Engineer leads company's electrical engineering team and directs the design, development, and technical direction of electrical systems and components that support existing and future products. This position carries direct people-management responsibility for the Electrical Engineering team, including engineers and the CAD/design technician supporting electrical design work, and owns hiring, performance management, workload planning, and professional development for the team. The Lead Electrical Engineer also remains a hands-on technical leader and the Lead technical authority for electrical design decisions — creating and reviewing detailed technical drawings, product definition drawings, and manufacturing documentation that support Production's build and assembly needs; conducting testing, experimentation, and analysis to optimize product performance; and diagnosing electrical issues across the product lifecycle. This role collaborates closely with Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, R&D, Production, Materials, Field Services, and Sales to ensure integrated, manufacturable solutions, and serves as a technical resource for both internal teams and external customers. This position reports to the Director of Power Products. Skills Electrical engineering, Electrical, Electrical design Top Skills Details Electrical engineering,Electrical Additional Skills & Qualifications ● Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Electrical Engineering. ● Minimum of 5–10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, including demonstrated experience in a lead or Lead design engineer role. ● Experience with a consulting engineering firm and completion of industrial projects is preferred. ● Experience in Electrical Manufacturing Design is preferred. ● Experience in the Renewable Energy (Solar), UPS/BESS industry is strongly preferred. ● Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Provides basic health and retirement offerings, though specific official benefit packages are limited for this small, privately held alternative energy company
