The Tea Server will be responsible for guiding our guests through an immersive tea experience, anticipating their needs and delivering the highest personalized service and attention.

Responsibilities

- Provide an immersive tea experience by guiding guests through tea offerings, menu selections, and the Southall seed-to-table philosophy
- Communicate guest orders, special requests, and dietary needs to the kitchen and bar using the hotel’s point-of-sale system; coordinate food and beverage timing to provide a seamless tea service
- Review completed orders against the guest’s original request and deliver food and beverages to the guest table or lounge chair in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and quality
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Read each table and adapt to the guest, creating a customized experience for a variety of local guests, international travelers, and building residents alike
- Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
- Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables and chairs
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Southall Leadership

Requirements

- Restaurant hospitality experience
- Weekend availability is a must
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
