Electrical BIM Modeler - Remote

Electrical BIM Modeler (Remote – U.S. Only) Summary This role supports complex electrical BIM modeling and coordination for large‑scale data center projects. The ideal candidate brings strong Revit Electrical skills, hands‑on BIM workflows , and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. Candidates may come from an engineering consulting background or an electrical contractor—what matters most is confidence with electrical circuiting inside Revit. Core Responsibilities

- Electrical BIM Modeling — Build, maintain, and update detailed electrical system models in Revit.
- Model Setup & Standards — Establish project templates, ensure adherence to modeling standards, and maintain clean model structure.
- Trade Coordination — Collaborate with architects, mechanical teams, and other BIM coordinators to resolve design conflicts.
- Redline Updates — Review markups and implement revisions accurately and efficiently.
- 3D Coordination — Support clash detection, issue tracking, and coordination meetings.
- Design Support — Assist with drafting, layout adjustments, and electrical system updates.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-10 years of Electrical BIM experience
- Strong Proficiency in Revit
- Understanding of commercial electrical layouts, distribution, and equipment.
- Familiarity with 3D coordination, clash detection, and multi‑discipline workflows.
- Experience working on commercial projects (data center experience is a plus but not required)
- background may be from engineering consulting or electrical contracting .

Work Environment

- 100% remote (U.S. only)
- Cannot reside in CA, NY, or PA
- Optional office access in Colorado or Florida
- Join a tight‑knit BIM team supporting high‑security data center projects

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
