About the Role
The JBS Prime City Feedlot is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced self-starter to further their career in the Feedlot industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the management of cattle nutrition including a strong focus on milling functions, feed allocation and feed delivery to ensure that operational targets are met
- Ensuring compliance with milling grain to maximise cattle performance outcomes
- Feed commodity receival, storage and inventory management
- Ensuring commodities and ration data is accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Inventory management as required, including stocktaking and auditing
- Team management, engagement, development and training in a positive and proactive manner
- Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations
About You
- Previous mill and feeding experience
- Record keeping and computer literacy skills
- Commitment to excel in Animal Nutrition, ration processing and feed delivery
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of team members
- Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills, high levels of self-motivation and strong planning capabilities
