The Project

The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.

The Role

We’re looking for a Plant Administrator to join our team and play an important role in supporting the safe, compliant and efficient delivery and management of plant and equipment across this major infrastructure project.

This is more than an administration role. You’ll be at the centre of the plant onboarding process, working with site teams, suppliers, subcontractors and safety professionals to ensure equipment is ready to safely enter and operate across the project.

Role and Responsibilities

- Coordinate the onboarding and compliance of mechanical plant and equipment across T2D project sites.

- Manage plant information, data entry, verification and tracking through 3D Safety.

- Review and maintain critical compliance documentation, including SWMS, inspections, risk assessments and maintenance records.

- Complete initial compliance checks to ensure plant meets T2D and legislative requirements.

- Maintain accurate plant registers, records and servicing schedules.

- Work closely with Plant Coordinators, site teams and Safety personnel to resolve compliance issues.

- Support the onboarding of operators and ensure accurate plant-to-operator linking in 3D Safety.

- Monitor document and certification expiry dates and proactively follow up outstanding information.

- Identify and escalate plant compliance risks to ensure issues are addressed quickly.

- Provide administrative and coordination support to the wider Plant team.

About You

- Experience in plant administration, construction administration or a similar coordination role.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical plant and equipment, ideally within civil construction or infrastructure.

- Experience using 3D Safety or similar safety, compliance or plant management systems.

- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and record keeping.

- Confident communicating with site teams, suppliers, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Proactive approach to identifying issues, following up outstanding information and getting things done.

- Previous experience operating plant or working closely with plant and equipment will be highly regarded.
