Working in a stimulating and dynamic environment in a powertrain research and development center, you will be able to increase your knowledge of product design by carrying out activities related to optimizing powertrain efficiency with the aim of reducing the vehicle's carbon footprint.

Product Development Intern (m/f/d) - Transmission development (CVT)

(Duration: 4-6 months, full-time, Starting date: earliest January 2027)

As a member of the engineering team, your role will be to carry out activities related to vehicle creation and validation. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to expand your product design knowledge.

Here are some of your key responsibilities during your internship:

- Develop new transmission component designs affecting vehicle energy consumption
- Participation in the elaboration of prototype transmission for concept demonstration
- Carry out and/or supervise vehicle or dynamometer cell tests using state-of-the-art software and industrial tools
- Actively participate in optimizing vehicle efficiency by proposing solutions evaluated by simulation, external tests and dynamometer tests
- Ensure efficient multi-project management in liaison with the various technical departments
- Develop components and modeling tools, and analyze the performance of BRP products using a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Powertrain Engineering, Product Development, or a related technical field
- Interest in various types of vehicles and modes of transportation
- A candidate seeking to deepen their knowledge in product development and mechanical systems analysis
- Motivated by multidisciplinary teamwork
- Spoken and written languages: English

You will be offered an exciting position in an international company. Compensation for this position is based on the collective agreement for the Austrian metal industry for internships with EUR 1,911 gross per month (full-time).
