You will support the management and digitalization of building and space-related data, work with AutoCAD and CAFM systems, and contribute to ongoing optimization and project activities.

Facility Management Intern (m/f/d)

Duration: 4-6 months, part-time (15-20 hours per week), Earliest start date: December 2026

Your New Adventure

As part of our Facility Management team, you will support activities related to the digitalization and maintenance of building and space data, the further development of our CAFM system, and the updating of CAD drawings. This will allow you to expand your expertise in Facility Management, building documentation, and digital infrastructure processes:

- Update AutoCAD drawings used as the basis for our CAFM software, pitFM
- Work with pitCAD (an AutoCAD extension), including room polygonization, room labeling, usage categories, and related tasks
- Support the further development of the pitFM CAFM system in close cooperation with responsible departments (e.g., fire protection doors)
- Compare AutoCAD drawings with actual site conditions through on-site measurements
- Regularly create PDF plans and maintain the corresponding file structures
- Support additional digitalization initiatives within the Facility Management area

In addition, there is an opportunity to complete a project assignment, bachelor's thesis, or master's thesis as part of the internship.

Your Experience and Skills

- Currently pursuing a degree in Facility Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; experience with pitFM is an advantage
- Independent and structured working style with a high level of responsibility
- Very good German and good English language skills

You will be offered an exciting position in an international company. Compensation for this position is based on the collective agreement for the Austrian metal industry for internships with EUR 1,911 gross per month (full-time).
