Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of engineering work experience. A minimum of two years of relevant experience in relay protection and/or control systems engineering disciplines, required. or
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 years of engineering work experience. A minimum of two years of relevant experience in relay protection and/or control systems engineering disciplines, required.
Relevant Work Experience
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in relay protection and/or control systems engineering disciplines, required.
- Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required.
- Proficiency in using PSS/E CAPE, Aspen or equivalent fault study analysis tools, required.
- Experience with various microprocessor relay platforms and software, required.
- Ability to write engineering specifications and standards, preferred.

Physical Demands
- Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel throughout the company service territory and work at company locations as needed.
- Ability to wear the required PPE as needed.
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions, and in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work in power plants and high voltage substations.
