We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager, Software Engineering to join our team in Hyderabad, India. This role will lead software engineering teams responsible for developing and enhancing enterprise applications and AI-powered capabilities that address the evolving needs of our global clients.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of technical expertise, engineering leadership, people management, client focus, and hands-on experience with modern AI technologies, including GenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, and MCP.

What Role Offers

- Lead and guide development teams working on small to medium-scale software projects, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
- Drive project planning, execution, release management, and people management, while ensuring effective coordination across cross-functional teams.
- Provide strong technical leadership and hands-on expertise in C++ and/or Java, along with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Lead the development and enhancement of Windows/Linux-based applications, leveraging strong C++ and/or Java development skills.
- Drive the adoption and practical application of GenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, and MCP across engineering initiatives.
- Identify client-centric AI opportunities and translate business challenges into scalable and practical AI-powered solutions.
- Design, develop, integrate, and consume web services using RESTful APIs.
- Work with middleware, application servers, infrastructure, and database technologies to develop reliable enterprise applications.
- Architect solutions that address client needs while ensuring security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Evaluate and propose creative technical solutions and alternatives while balancing risk, complexity, effort, and business requirements.
- Translate high-level business requirements into clear technical plans and execution strategies, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, development, unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and client-facing teams to understand requirements, resolve technical challenges, and deliver solutions that meet client expectations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering team members while promoting AI-assisted development practices, engineering excellence, and continuous learning.
- Help teams achieve sprint and release goals on time and within agreed quality standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure plans, priorities, resources, and dependencies are effectively coordinated.
- Stay current with emerging technology and industry trends, particularly in software engineering, cloud, AI, and enterprise application development.

What you need to Succeed

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of experience in people management and/or project management.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in C++ and/or Java.
- Experience developing applications on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, web services, middleware/application servers, infrastructure, and databases.
- Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, and MCP.
- Ability to identify AI opportunities from client/business problems and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, including security, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, development plans, and actionable execution strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile development environment.

- Experience with AI-assisted software development and adoption of AI engineering practices.

- Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
