Job Title: Customer Service Representative - Dispatch Job Description This role focuses on providing high-quality customer service and administrative support. You will handle inbound calls, assist customers in setting up services within a defined regional area, and coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate job scheduling. This position offers opportunities for growth into other administrative and sales support roles as the company continues to expand. Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls and provide professional, courteous assistance throughout each interaction.
- Set up services for clients within approximately a 50-mile radius of the Fargo/Moorhead area, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
- Handle calls from distraught or upset customers, calmly de-escalating situations and making clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable.
- Manage an average call volume of approximately 20–40 calls per day, adjusting to higher volumes during extreme hot or cold weather conditions.
- Accurately enter client information into the appropriate systems and maintain up-to-date records.
- Contact service technicians to communicate job details and next job sites, ensuring clear and timely coordination.
- Provide general administrative support to the customer service department as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other computer applications to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and customer service skills in every interaction.
- Collaborate with a small team in a shared workspace, contributing to a positive and supportive work atmosphere.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with computers and common office software applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office for everyday administrative tasks.
- Strong inbound call handling skills, including professional phone etiquette.
- Proven administrative support or administrative assistance experience.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Excellent customer service and customer support capabilities, including the ability to remain calm and empathetic with distraught customers.
- Clear verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment and in close proximity to colleagues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service department is beneficial.
- Experience coordinating with field or service technicians is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating call volumes, especially during extreme weather conditions.
- Interest in growing into sales assistant or other administrative positions as the organization expands.
Work Environment There are two shifts available, 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8am - 5pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
