Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Paramedic to provide patient care at the Calhoun County Jail in Alabama.
This is an opportunity to put your assessment, emergency response, medication administration, and patient care skills to work in a setting where every shift brings purpose and variety.
What Youll Do
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in a correctional healthcare setting
- Perform assessments, monitor patient conditions, and respond to healthcare needs
- Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice
- Assist with sick call, chronic care, and other routine healthcare services
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
- Provide emergency care when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare and correctional teams
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment
- Practice within your professional scope, licensure, and established clinical guidelines
Qualifications
What Youll Need
- Current RN, LPN, or Paramedic license/certification in the state of Alabama, as applicable
- Current CPR certification
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a correctional setting
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
